The Armstrong 310 Steel Inverted Bucket Steam Trap is a forged carbon steel trap for vertical installation in high-pressure steam systems. ASTM A105 forged steel body rated to 770 psig at 700°F (48 bar at 371°C), capacity up to 1,050 lb/hr (476 kg/hr), maximum operating pressure 400 psig (27.5 bar).
A unique leverage system multiplies the force provided by the bucket to open the valve against system pressure. The free-floating mechanism has no fixed pivots, and the discharge orifice at the top keeps dirt in suspension.
