The Armstrong 883 Cast Iron Inverted Bucket Steam Trap is the largest-connection model in the 880 Series, featuring an integral strainer and connections up to 1-1/4″ (32 mm). Cast iron body rated to 250 psig at 450°F (17 bar at 232°C), handling up to 4,400 lb/hr (2,000 kg/hr) at 250 psig MOP.
Like all 880 Series traps, the 883 uses a free-floating stainless steel mechanism. The integral strainer protects against pipeline debris while the self-cleaning discharge orifice prevents buildup.
